anniversary weekend, part two

So, we’re finally onto the weekend part of the weekend. The two-day part of the four-day part. And I have to say, I really like the four-day version of the two-day weekend. On Saturday, Steve took at 30 mile bike ride while I rearranged the chairs on the deck, literally. We wandered into town and had lunch at Cowgirl Creamery, wandered to the beach, to the tree tunnel, to Drake’s Bay Oyster Farm, and back to the cottage. Then we wandered back into town to Osteria Stellina for dinner…always a favorite, though I skipped the oyster pizza this time.

There’s more…on Sunday we went kayaking. As in the two of us. Steve AND Kim. And it was fantastic. Foggy, then sunny, and just incredible. I vote for more sitting down sports. (more on my kayaking adventure here)

All around, awesome. Except for the return to reality party. That’s a little less awesome, but still, nothing to complain about.
