escape to the city

We did it! We pulled off a weekend in San Francisco, with perfect weather, just the right combination of scurrying and moseying (truth, more mosey than scurry), a little shopping (mostly bookstores), some delicious eating, and lots and lots of art (David Hockney at the De Young Museum). I accidentally forgot that there would be thousands of people in Union Square when I made our hotel reservations, but since we generally headed away from the big stores, we survived. Plus, we had snacks. There’s something about having the four of us in the same pod that makes me happy and content. They may be grown, but they still giggle. Loved the weekend, love them.

Ok, Christmas is coming. I can do this. Going in…see you on the flip side.
