inverness | day of

So by now you know we spent the weekend on a mountaintop, celebrating my in-laws’ 60th wedding anniversary. Our family of 12 arrived on Friday, and we spent Saturday morning preparing for the rest of them to drive up the hill. We made signs and salads, plated fancy cheese and prosciutto, and someone had the crazy idea to wrap each sandwich in parchment paper and string. I have no idea who that someone was. But I do have to say, the sandwiches were adorable (and also delicious, thanks to Steve). We woke up at 6:00 to the sunrise and the fog over Tomales Bay…by noon, our family and the sunshine arrived. You’ll have to come back tomorrow to see how that worked out.
