still here, still cold, still eating our way through chicago

We’re still in Chicago, and we are done eating. Probably forever. We have agreed that today will be about sustenance only. Nothing delicious, like a duck rueben sandwich, or dates stuffed with chorizo, or a squash blossom taco. But yesterday….oh boy. That was about baseball and pizza and beer and snow. Wrigley Field, Cubs vs. Giants. It was a blast…the friendliest field I have ever experienced. Great all around. Kate morphed into a Cubs fan before our very eyes. We hung around after the game, and even at the team bus (Barry!Timmy!Bochy!Buster!Pablo!)

  1. Jennifer says:

I’m from Illinois – you have to get an Italian Beef sandwich. They are fantastic and available no where else!

  2. You guys are adorable–and hearty. You know, for Californians. What was it, 65 degrees? : )
