a day that looked like this

Yesterday we packed three days into one. We rented a Zip Car, picked up Kate, drove out of town to Ikea, bought big stuff for her, drove to Oak Park and toured Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio, wandered around his neighborhood, stopped for coffee, came back to Kate’s, walked along the lake, drove to dinner at Little Goat (delicious, again), picked up Brendan from work, dropped them off, drove back downtown so I could try some night photography. All of my Chicago photos are over on Flickr, but here are some of my favorites from the day.

It’s so much easier to have three-days-in-one when it’s nice out in Chicago! Love the lake shots – can’t wait for warmer weather!
