tower cafe

Lunch with Nina. Brought my camera, because I have this Project 365, you know. Of course, you’re missing, the inside, which is the best part (or the patio/jungle in the summer). And the Chinese Chicken Salad, which is the other best part. And meeting a friend on a cold January Monday to hear good news…truly the best part. For those of you non-Sacramentans, this is where Tower Records had its start. Russ Solomon’s parents had a drugstore next to Tower Theater and as a teen he had a record counter there. This corner later became the first Tower Records. Now it’s my go-to favorite restaurant and scene for my Wordless Wednesday, which wasn’t so wordless, was it?
