clarion alley, san francisco

Sunday in the city, continued…We tend to do the same activities when we go to San Francisco (Ferry Building, Giants game, visit our friends, MOMA). I have wanted to wander around some different neighborhoods, specifically the Mission. And specifically, I wanted to visit Clarion Alley, a public art project with ever-changing murals and graffiti. We had a loose plan for the day, dependent upon parking, traffic, blood sugar levels and opportunity. Clarion Alley was the perfect counterpoint to our muted and well-behaved morning at Muji and Heath. Our experience was about to get loud…and bold and bright and slight off center. More photos on my flickr page. And believe it or not, we are only halfway through the day!       DSC00151 DSC00149 DSC00147  DSC00141    DSC00127  DSC00112  DSC00101  DSC00095  DSC00086 DSC00083
