angel island | part one

San Francisco is full of magic (and I am not just talking about the SF Giants baseball team, oh who am I fooling, yes I am). Angel Island sits out in the bay, with Alcatraz and Treasure Island, and about a million sailboats. It’s been on our “things to do when we have a free weekend” list for a long time. And on Sunday we packed our tuna sandwiches, hopped on the ferry from Tiburon and did it. We took the 5-mile Perimeter Trail, and we were rewarded with this:

Oh, and also rewarded with a World Series win. More tomorrow (Angel Island I mean, I will try to lay off of the baseball stuff for a while). But it’s magic, I tell you. All of it.
