Well, it’s been an exciting 48 hours in my little corner of the blogosphere. Coffee|Served Daily was featured on the WordPress home page, Freshly Pressed, and 18,500+ visitors showed up over three days…typically that blog sees about 100 visits a day). Tons of “likes” and comments, which makes my email in box feel very popular. Overwhelming and crazy making!

And…I believe I am ready to launch my new project, Caffeinated|By Design. I’ve been working on this for a while, trying to connect coffee with design and art and everything visual and delightful. That will include typography, photography, signage, packaging, books, storytelling, painted elephants (!) and hopefully, more coffee contributions.

I’ll post every day this week, and then I suspect I will slow down to three times a week. Eventually I will eliminate our studio design blog, re:design and just have these two. Then again, if two blogs seems like not nearly enough (because crazy making could be my middle name), I could try 1000 glasses of wine.

Check out the new blog this week and let me know what you think. I am imagining it as a caffeinated visual vacation. Come play.
