off the shelf

You know, this is why most bloggers don’t post every. single. day. Because sometimes we just have nothing interesting to say. Or sometimes there is plenty, but it’s still rolling around and not ready to be packaged for public consumption.

Watching the news about Japan, but thinking about Haiti.

Pondering the memorial service we’re to attend tomorrow, for one of Steve’s high school friends.

Wondering if I should skip out of work this afternoon to sit in the sun at Alex’s softball game, or skip out of work and go to the Co-op to buy more experimental soy products.

Feeling kind of bad for getting on Steve for eating Toby’s sliced turkey yesterday. Somehow the statement, “The good meat is for the dog, if you need a meat-like experience there is plenty of soy product Italian sausage in the refrigerator,” seems kind of silly. He was a good man not to laugh at me when I said it.

The veganista thing is still good. The scale still isn’t moving, but I feel awesome. I considered giving up my HRT drugs, and went two days without. See paragraph above. Yup, not such a smart idea.

The weekend is welcome.

definitely don’t go off HRT cold turkey – it won’t do you or the world around you any good.
