Between Cayucos and Cambria sits a little town, more of a hamlet, called Harmony. Population 18. It’s always been population 18, since my first visit there in 1975, and I am guessing before that.
Harmony has a ceramics studio, a glassblowing shop, a post office and an outhouse (the cute kind, with a moon carved into the door). There is a winery up the hill. And there are strategically placed items to photograph, especially for folks like me. Rolling green hills, and the smell of the ocean. It’s lovely.
The only thing it’s missing is a cafe. Which is a good thing, because if they served coffee, I would have to stay, and they might need to change the sign.
